I would like to add my Workspace to my Network Places accessible through my "File Open" dialog.  None of the URLs that I tried seemed to be accepted as valid URLs to the "Add Networks" dialog.

I encountered the problem trying to find a workaround for the fact that Workspace does not currently support integration with OneNote. I would like to store a OneNote notebook that I want to share between my computer at home and at work. 

I would appreciate other workarounds using Workspace or Skydrive besides uploading and downloading the section.

In my Windows Explorer I have a my_name.workspace.office.live.com. But it do not work.

This could be a great feature instead of uploading documents, then we could manage it from Windows Explorer.

Is this an upcoming feature?

Hi there,

Currently we support opening and saving Office Live Workspace documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. You just click Edit button in dcoument preview and document opens in your Desktop client. Add-in toolbar we added to Office client gives you access to document storeed in OLW. Currently we don't support OneNote, since it is much different from other Office application (different file structure and saving pattern), but we already work on it and you will get this feature in one of upcoming releases. We are also planning to add more syncing options, so you don't need to rely on upload only anymore. But for now simple playing with URL won't work.

I came here for almost the same reason you came here... to try to ensure synchronization with my OneNote files across my diferent computers. Looks like Office Live does not support OneNote.

 Do you have MS Groove? Groove, it looks like, is going to have to be my solution. I am having to down-grade my Vista Ultimate x64 machine to 32bit as Groove does not support file-sharing in the 64bit environment. Also, check out the Live Mesh application. Your work-place may have an issue with your "meshing" your work computer, but if you mesh your home computer, it should be accessible at work depending on the authorizations your IT folks give you on your machine.
