It has been over two weeks and MS has still not solved how to delete a document.

 The problem is you try to delete a document and the software freezes.
 

My problem was that I was using FireFox Browser not IE.   This is a killer I don't want to use IE.  I want to use FireFox.  Ms. Dewy tell me when Office Live supports FireFox.

Are you able to consistently repro this issue? Item/workspace deletion IS supported in FireFox. If you are consistently reproing the issue, we'd like to know about it. If you can help provide some information regarding the type of document you tried to delete, perhaps the date/time you tried the deletion, we can dig deeper to try and understand what might have happened to you.

same exact problem - using ie - latest version in Windows Vista.

 Files are Docx, PDF, and PUB.

Delete = hang.  Shut down IE and reload the workspace.

 This is ridiculous.  Why am I not surprised with all the problems in this microsoft software?
