How to collaborate with Office Live?

I am part of a club that takes on several volunteer projects throughout a year. Is Office Live an appropriate place for planning an event with, say, 20 people contributing to the effort?

If so, does each person need to have an Office Live (or Windows Live) ID to be able to sign in?

Is there a more appropriate mechanism for such endeavor? (A Wiki, perhaps?)

Thanks,

Vaughn McIlrath

Addressing one of the questions: each of them would need a Live ID; if they have hotmail or spaces they already have one

Re: How to collaborate with Office Live?

I'm currently working on the same issue, only with a Parent Association at my daughters daycare.  I think there is a way to do this through team workspace.

I'll post when I have more info.  Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

If you want each of the users to be able to edit the documents then yes, a Live ID is required.

On the other hand if some of them would only read the contents then they do not need to sign up - just select "Let everyone view this without signing in" option when sharing with the editors and send the viewers the web link to the workspace.

Re: How to collaborate with Office Live?

Marek,

Most people in our group probably wouldn't care about editing. Thanks for the tip.
