If a Microsoft Office document(s) crashes during editing in shared reviewing process, how does the recovery process work for that document?

Scenario

What will happen to the Microsoft Office document(s), (for example, Microsoft Word),  if one of the document that is currently being used crashes during the  work-in process.

  • How will the recovery process work?
  • Should the Author resend the invitation for reviewing the document?
  • Should the recovering process be done in each shared reviewer maching to recover changes?
  • How collobartion is handled during such situation?
