"Windows Title bar" can just display the "Workspace" name, the breadcrumb display is unnecessary.

Before you begin

  1. Login to Microsoft Office Live Workspace
  2. Click on the "Event Workspace" on the left pane, to view the following documents:
    • Directions
    • Event Agenda
    • Party Invitation
    • Busy Event Flyer
    • Notes
    • List of Invitees
    • To do List
  3. click on the List of Invitees document
List of Invities - Event Workspace - Office Live Workspace - Microsoft Internet Explorer

Scenario

When you click on the document, the window title displays the following:

List of Invities - Event Workspace - Office Live Workspace - Microsoft Internet Explorer

Question

Why do we need a breadcrumb display? Displaying Workspace name in the Window title is sufficient, since we know which document we are viewing in the preview mode.

Note:  I have already mentioned a bug in MyWorkspace that does not display selected Workspace immediately. Only when you move the mouse pointer again in MyWorkspace, the selected Workspace is displayed in Red color, .

The point to add document name to the Window title is to allow the name appear if the user adds the current direct link to the browser favorite. That is why we have a breadcrumb display.
