Important: For easy navigation in list pages, provide a new "List" menu similar to "Move" list in workspace for selecting "Columns", and then provide "row numbers" for indentifying records.

Before you begin

  1. Login to Microsoft Office Live Workspace
  2. Click on the "Event Workspace" on the left pane, to view the following documents:
    • Directions
    • Event Agenda
    • Party Invitation
    • Busy Event Flyer
    • Notes
    • List of Invitees
    • To do List
  3. Click on the List of Invitees document checkbox
  4. Click on the Move list to view all Workspaces - Even the New Workspaces that were added to the MY Workspace.

Scenario

Click on the "List of Invitees" document to view in the Preview mode. Then, click on the Edit icon to add new column(s) or row(s).

Imagine that you have 10 columns, it is very difficult to enter data in the new column because, you have to use the horizontal scrollbar to move to a specific column.

In addtion,  it is difficult to know the exact row where data is being entered, because the row numbers are not provided in the list.

Suggestion

Provide a list menu - similar to Move list - in List of Invitees, so that user can navigate to the correct column by selecting from the list directly.

Note: If you notice, the Move list menu displays all Workspaces - even new Workspaces that were addesd to My Workspaces.

Important: Provide a new List menu to display all - even new columns - columns in the list page immediately.
