Forgive my ignorance, but this looks very similay to Live Mesh... I have been using the Tech Preview of Live Mesh for a wee while now and very interested in the potential. That is because OLW HTML Viewer always sets encoding of HTML file as UTF-8. One workaround is that you can save your HTML file as UTF-8. This can simply be done using Notepad. You can open the file and select "Save As" menu item. In the Encoding drop down list, select UTF-8.

Yes I have. Sorry, I forgot to post back. The answer was that it can't be done. You can only open documents that you post from excel, not documents that are shared with you. Thanks.

Another user added to this topic on the Japanese side with clearer data. In this case, it was confirmed that a file saved from Notepad in the default form turned illegible once uploaded. The user says the default encoding for Notepad in Japanese Windows is ANSI, so in order to make these files legible...

I wanted my students to have a place to store their assignments in the cloud so, yes, I did have them all create Office Live Workspace Accounts. Then I had them submit some assignments as shared documents so I could comment on them, but I soon saw the error in that approach. Eventually, we got to sharing...

Help w/ Editting

Is there anyway I can view edits in progress on a document I am sharing with another user, or do I need to open the document again to see all the edits and changes? Thanks

At the top of the workspace there is a button called "Add Document" if you click on that you can add a PDF by selecting it from your local file system.
