Yes I have. Sorry, I forgot to post back. The answer was that it can't be done. You can only open documents that you post from excel, not documents that are shared with you. Thanks.

You can create a new workspace for your private documents and move the document from the shared one. As long as the private workspace remains unshared your documents can be seen only by you.

The Documents workspace is a special workspace where you can share individual documents - all other workspaces do not allow you to share at the document level - if you share a workspace you automatically share all documents within.

Re: Deleting workspace

If you're referring to the "Documents" workspace then you can't rename it or delete it. It is a special type of workspace where you can keep single documents and share them directly; for other workspaces you share the whole workspace and all documents within.
